Position Summary: 

We are seeking a talented and passionate software engineer with data processing experience to join our product team. You will be supporting customer and partners as they integrate NextNav 3D location APIs and SDKs as well as process offline location based data sets from customers. You are enthusiastic about understanding customer needs and using NextNav products to address them. You are fast learner, excellent problem solver and prompt/clear communicator in an external customer facing role.

Essential Functions: 
  • Support customers as they integrate NextNav products (APIs and SDKs)
  • Process location data and map data from various sources to generate data sets for internal and external needs.
  • Process field test 3D location data to generate accuracy statistics (CDFs) taking into account various error factors.
  • Work with Systems, Software and Product teams to analyze the processed location data to generate trends, custom reports, analysis and predictions
  • Multi-task and manage priorities in a fast paced environment
Education, Experience, Skills and Attributes: 


  • Bachelors/Masters in quantitative discipline (e.g., computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering) with 2+ years of experience
  • 2+ years of experience working statistical software / scripting languages (e.g., SAS, R, Python, MATLAB, pandas) and database languages (e.g., SQL) doing quantitative data analysis
  • Familiarity with web service protocols such as REST, JSON or XML
  • Outstanding critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.



  • Familiarity with Java, Android and iOS development
  • Experience with processing geo-location location data
  • Experience with generating statistical reports from geo-location data
  • Experience supporting customers / end-users in integration / development activities
