Introducing the NextNav Partner Portal

As you may have noticed, we’ve been busy this year.

We launched our Pinnacle service for vertical location on FirstNet (built by AT&T).  We completed the initial phase of our network rollout, reaching 4,400 cities (and over 90% of buildings over three stories) in the US.  First responders started to use vertical location with offerings from Intrepid Networks and 3AM Innovations.  We announced a significant partnership with Gimbal to improve customer experience across a variety of mobile apps.  We started NextNav Certified, a new program to standardize and improve the quality of barometric sensors.

And it’s only April!

As vertical location gains momentum in mobile apps, public safety, gaming, and many other use cases, we wanted to create a place for developers and users to get the latest information about NextNav’s offering.  We also wanted to create a place where customers can exchange best practices, share their experiences, and connect directly with NextNav’s product team.

That’s why I’m excited to announce the launch of our new partner portal.

The NextNav partner portal is now the place to go for everything related to our Pinnacle vertical location service.  In the portal you can:

  • Sign up for a developer key, and get started with a free trial
  • Find the most updated versions of our SDK and Unity Plug-In
  • Check out all of our product documentation
  • Log support cases and get the help you need
  • Interact directly with our product team, engaging their expertise throughout the development and integration process.

For existing Pinnacle users, we just released v1.0 of our Android SDK exclusively on our customer portal.

If all of this isn’t enough to whet your appetite, we’ve also recorded a video overview of our feature roadmap, providing portal users with a view of the exciting new features we’ll be rolling out over the next few months.

And there’s much more to come!  Soon we’ll be adding forums to our customer portal, where users can exchange ideas and best practices for integrating vertical location into mobile apps and services.  We’re also working on more content like case studies and customer stories that will show the impact of vertical location out in the world.

We’re excited about this opportunity to engage with vertical location pioneers and bring new users into the fold.  I hope you’ll join us today and see all that we have to offer.
